Mrs. Kate Court Dies At Residence - Had Lived in Community All of Her Life
Mrs. Kate A. Court, 88, of 718 South Fifteenth Street, died at 12:15 a.m. today (Saturday) at the residence, following a lingering illness. She was born in Sangamon County, August 27, 1856 and had lived in the Springfield all of her life. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Helen Miller of Zion; Mrs. Mary L. Beland, Lake Forest; Mrs. Charles L. Shelby, Waukegan; Mrs. Peter V. Ellerbock, city; Miss Alice M. Court, city. She also leaves four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church. The body was removed to the Kirlin & Egan funeral home.
