Marvin Ellis Witt of Lacy Lakeview died Wednesday, October 18, 1995 at his residence. He was 74.
Graveside services were 11:00a.m. Saturday, October 21, 1995, at Old Perry Cemetery in Moody, with Reverand Keith Durso officiating.
Mr. Witt was born December 12, 1920 in Brownwood, Texas. He married Mary Sam Sturdivant 1946. She preceded him in death in 1987. He was a member of American Legion Post #121 and Lakeview Baptist Chruch. He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service. He married Louise Derrick Murphree on June 15, 1988.
Survivors include his wife; his daughters; Mary Susan Eagan of Arizona, Dorothy June Tull of Dallas; his son, Thomas E. Henderson of Tennessee; one sister, Katherine Frances Witt Knox of Longview; one brother, edward Walter Witt of San Antonio; six grandchildrenl six great granchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Bellmead Funeral Home.
