Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 30, at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard with interment to follow at Younger Cemetery near Silver City in Navarro County. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 29, at the funeral home.

Jean was born in Dallas, Texas, to the late Richard and Bertha (Potter) Martin. She lived most of her life in the Dallas area where she worked as a cashier and also as a file clerk for an insurance company and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. Jean had lived in Dawson since 1985.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, William T. Stanley who passed away in 1991; and a son, Ricky Stanley who passed away in 1992.

Survivors include children, Tom Stanley and wife, Janet, of Canyon Lake, Billy Stanley, of Canyon Lake and Randy Stanley and wife, Callie, of Seagoville; daughters, Betty Burns, of Dallas, and Brenda O'Pry and husband, James, of Dawson; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
