VALLEY, AL -- Mildred Eleanor Wood, 78, of Valley died Saturday, May 14, 1994 at her residence.
Mrs. Wood was a native of Roanoke, born January 24, 1916. She was a retired employee of West Point Pepperell's Fairfax Mill and a member of Langdale Congregational Christian Church.
Mrs. Wood is survived by two sons, Sidney Wood and Phillip Wood of Valley; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 1994 with burial in Fairfax Cemetery. Rev Herb Young and Rev John Schofield officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Langdale Congregational Christian Church Youth Fund in her memory.
Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel of Valley was in charge of arrangements.
