Wilna Irene [Rigsby] Miller, 85, a resident of Greencastle, died Monday, Aug. 27, 1990, in Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle.
Born in Posey Township in Rush County, she was the daughter of Earl C. and Emma J. [Northam] Rigsby. On Nov. 3, 1934, she married Paul H. Miller, who survives. In 1929, she graduated from the former Marion College in Marion, Ind. retiring in 1964, she was an elementary school teacher in Rush County and for the Indianapolis Public Schools for 31 years. She was a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association and the Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Survivors besides here husband include two sons: James E. Miller, Greencastle, and Rev. John P. Miller, Milan, Ill.; one brother, Thomas Worthington, Heartland, Wis.; and four grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday in the Blue River Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. John Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue River Wesleyan Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Missionary Institute, P.O. Box 6070, Rock Island, Ill., 61204. The Carmony Ewing Broadway Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
