Frank Shugart Hollingsworth was the son of James William and Lula Elizabeth Mason Hollingsowrth. His siblings were Flora Gae, Daniel, Kermit King, and Litha Sue Hollingsworth. His father is buried at Oak Hill (Whitewright), Texas Cemetery. His mother and two sisters are buried at Cedarlawn Memorial Cemetery, Sherman, Texas. Sister Gae remained unmarried during her life and sister Litha Sue married Ralph Slagle, also buried at Cedarlawn Memorial Cemetery.

Frank Shugart Hollingsworth was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII.

Frank was married several times but did not have children.

He was a Methodist minister at one time and pastored the Splendora, Texas Methodist Church.

In his later life he worked for Boeing in Wichita, Kansas and lived in Augusta, Kansas.
