George H Black, well known farmer of this community, passed away at his home southwest of town Saturday morning at 12:05 o'clock, at the age of 76 years. Mr Black had been in poor health for several months. He had spent most of his life in this community and he had a host of friends who will regret to learn of his death.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Mrs Cora Miller of the home; Mrs D H Burton of Frankfort and Miss Vera Black of Marysville; two sons, Frank Black of the home, and Fred Black of Irving, and a number of other relatives who have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
Funeral services were held here at the Oelkers Funeral Home this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and burial was in the Barrett Cemetery.
