Funeral services for Almanita Pape, 62, 0f Zorn, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Frieden's United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home. Visitation began after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pape died Thursday, June 15, in a San Marcos hospital.

She was born July 9, 1932 to Bodo Dietert and Alma Babel near New Braunfels where she was the youngest of six children. She attended Watson School and graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1950.

In 1951, she married Lloyd M. Pape at the First Protestant Church in New Braunfels. She lived in the Zorn community for over 30 years where she was a member of Frieden's United Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Pape of Zorn; two sons, Glenn R. Pape and Kenneth W. Pape of Zorn; one daughter, Carol Ann Harrison of Zorn; one brother, Bodo Dietert Jr. of New Braunfels; two grandchildren, Christopher Cody Harrison and Rex Lloyd Pape.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Sam Dietert, Earl Dietert and Jerome Dietert; one sister, Eva Timmerman.
