Esther Bruner Shearer, 80, died Mon, Sep 22, at Otterbein Retirement Community in Lebanon, OH. A native of Jessamine County she was born Oct 12, 1927, to the late Robert and Belia Hurt Bruner. She lived for many years in Winchester, KY, was a member of the Winchester First Methodist Church, had been a former owner of Modern Electric Service also in Winchester and retired from PNC Bank in the early ‘90s. Survivors include a daughter Sandra Shearer, Fort Wayne, IN, a son Larry Shearer and wife Rhonda, Springboro, OH, a brother Bobby L. Bruner, wife Anita, CA, a sister JoAnn Corman, husband Willard, Versailles, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Dianne Shearer Gatson, a sister Patricia Neal Shearer, and a brother Chester Bruner. Services will be 1pm Thu, Sep 25, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Pinkston officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Judson Everitt, Clark Everitt, Michael Shearer, Brandon Shearer, Robert White, and Craig Ridgewater. Herald Leader Newspaper Sept 24. 2008
