She was born at New Liberty, Kentucky on January 2, 1941 the daughter of the late George Kelly and Maggie Hicks Bryant. She was a factory worker and member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Her husband, Charles E. King and her parents precede her in death. The deceased brothers and sisters are Ranzie Bryant; Tommie Bryant; Donald Bryant; Raymond Bryant; Roy Bryant; Violet Beams; Mary Lou Jones; Minnie Lutz; Helen Barlow and Leona Garcia.
Survivors include her children Robert R. Waters, Louisville, Kentucky; Larry E. waters and Cathy Miller, Pine Knot, Kentucky. Opha Gilreath, Lake City, Florida is the surviving sister. Seven grandchildren survive. She had at least a hundred nieces and nephews and numerous friends throughout the community.
