Death of Lee Odell
Lee T. Odell, aged 33 years, died at his home near Odell Thursday of tuberculosis. He had been a sufferer from the disease for some time and his death was not unexpected. He leaves a wife.
The funeral took place Saturday from his late residence, the Rev. Troy Shelley officiating and the interment was in Pine Grove cemetery. S. E. Bartmess had charge of the funeral arrangements.

ODELL
After an illness of more than a year Lee Odell passed away Thursday December 20. The disease which caused his death was tuberculosis. The deceased was born in Hood River valley 33 years ago and his life, with the exception of a short time spent in Canada some 11 years ago and a few months spent at Star Buck, Wash., last year, has been lived in the valley which was his birth place. Lee was a big hearted man and his friends were many. In his last days his thoughts were not of himself, but of the wife who has so faithfully cared for him and who would be left so alone at his going. He leaves to mourn his loss beside his wife, two brothers and one sister. The sympathy of all is theirs. Funeral services were held at his late home Saturday, December 22, at 10 a.m. Rev. Troy Shelley conducted the services. Lee was laid to rest in Pine Grove cemetery where his parents and two brothers and a sister rest.
