John Loyd Gibson, 76, of Possum Kingdom Lake was a retired rancher. He moved to Possum Kingdom in 1968. Mr. Gibson was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. Annette Crow; one sister - Mrs. Ada Crisswell; two grandchildren.

John Roy Gibson was originally buried at Oak Grove cemetery in Graham, Texas. His remains were moved to Fort Worth, Texas to Oakwood cemetery in 1990.
