App, John J. Died June 5, 1925 Back to the old homestead after an absence of nearly ten years, the remains of John App who passed away in Denver, Colo., last Friday, reached Cleveland Thursday afternoon. For years back his coming marked a good cordial time for his "pals" most of whom have long since answered the call, but happily, the "God lives after." Mr. App leaves a widow, Mrs. Sarah App and one brother, George App of Cleveland together with several nephews and nieces. Both Mr and Mrs App have always extended the glad hand to their eastern neighbors coming to Denver or passing through. Although the writer had not had the pleasure of visiting Denver, neighbors say John App and his home was the Mecca for many, rich and poor, lucky and unlucky who were sent on their way rejoicing. "Here's all that makes for gladness; The world can give no more." Funeral services will be held Friday morning and burial in St. Mary=s cemetery in the family plot.
