Flavio Jose Herrera, 83, born on May 16, 1921 in Juan Tomas, NM, and passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2004, surrounded by his family.

At 83, Flavio still enjoyed farming with his tractor and weekly visits to the flea market.

Mr. Herrera was preceded in death by two sons, Jose Antonio and Flavio Robert.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Herrera; daughters. Rose Trujillo and husband, Mike, Mary Jackson and husband, Andrew, Ida May Herrera and Jimmy Joe Baca, Betty Toledo and husband, James, Dinah Herrera and Leonard Chavez; sons, Miguel Herrera and wife, Dana, and Harold Herrera; 25 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Fernando Herrera and Claude Herrera and wife, Mary; three sisters, Sebastiana Sanchez, Benerita Nieto and Dora Martinez and husband, Willie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Fabian Herrera, Joey Herrera, lan Howard. Ned Overbay, Albert Pacheco, James Toledo, Bnan Trujillo, Brian James Trujillo, Fermin Trujillo. Manuel Trujillo, Ricky Trujillo and Robbie Trujillo.
