Everett E. Weddle, Ex-Teacher, Dies
Funeral Monday at First Mt. Pleasant

Funeral arrangements were completed today for Everett E. Weddle, 52 years old, former Johnson County school teacher who died suddenly Friday at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

According to word received by relatives here, Mr. Weddle was stricken Friday morning while at his post as bookkeeper at the Metal Auto Parts Co., in Indianapolis. He was taken to his home and then removed to the hospital where he died before he could be taken to his room.

He had been in failing health for several years but his condition was not believe to have been serious.

He was born April 1, 1886 in Hensley township and spent his boyhood in Johnson County. Following his marriage Mr. Weddle taught in schools near Nineveh and Morgantown. He moved to Indianapolis about fifteen years ago.

Survivors besides the widow, Nellie F. Weddle, are six children, Donald, Lloyd, Francis, Marguerite, Russell and Rosemary Weddle; one grandchild, Mary Weddle; a brother, Robert Weddle, of near Trafalgar, and four sisters, Mrs. Frank Doty, of Smiths Valley, Mrs. Oscar Doty, of Smiths Valley, Mrs. Alonzo Burchette, of Plainfield, and Mrs. Carl Kindler, of Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9 a.m., at the home, 1040 Russell Avenue, in University Heights and at 10:30 a.m. at the First Mt. Pleasant Church. Burial will be in the First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Everett married Nellie Frances Cobb on April 8th, 1908. Together they had seven children : Donald O., Lloyd, Harold E., Francis E., Marguerite, Russel F. & Rosemary.
