NORMAN PARK -- Wilbur Lamar Castleberry, 91, of Norman Park, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at Magnolia Manor South Nursing Center.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Crosland Cemetery.
Born Nov. 11, 1909, in Mitchell County, Mr. Castleberry was the son of the late Dollie Barlow Castleberry and Warren Castleberry. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Maude Gunn Castleberry; a son, Sam Castleberry; and three daughters, Louise Otero, Willene Hayes and Laura Crawford.
Survivors include a son, Wilbur Castleberry of Crosland; a daughter, Betty Lou Vega of Sneads, Fla.; a brother, Earl Moye of Jacksonville, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
