William Edward Wooten, 86, died in Gainesville early Thursday morning. Mr. Wooten was born in Habersham County. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Judy Wooten and the husband of the late Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Brooks Wooten. He was a member of the Stonepile Baptist Church and was a lumberman prior to retirement.
Surviving: (Edited for privacy) three sons, three daughters, & one sister. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 am from Church and Son Funeral Home with the Rev's. J. A. Batson and Roscoe Simpson officiating. The body is at the funeral home.
