The original German name was probably Schweinfort (see RBH Obit Index), but the name has been anglicized to Swineford or Swinefort. It is not clear how Margaret herself spelled the name.

Her disease was a complication of paralysis of the heart and inflamation of the bowels. The funeral services conducted by Rev. O. Gahn, took place on Monday.
["In the German portion of the newspaper it said she was born Margaretha Schweinfert. In the Journal front part of the newspaper was in English and the back section was written in German." ~ Julie Palmer]
