Died of wounds received in the Battle of Mission Ridge on Nov. 25th 1863.
Mustered in Company "H" 105th O.V.I. August 11th 1862 with his brothers James & Joseph. Two other brothers also served: Ferdinand Co. "D" 104th O.V.I. and Mahlon Co. "G" 155th O.N.G.
