Mrs. Emil (Frances) Schinkel, 69, died Tuesday at her home, 404 Barney.

Mrs. Schinkel was born Sept. ll, 1907 and married Emil Schinkel Nov. 4, 1925 in South Dakota. They later moved to Wisconsin for six years, and then to Minnesota in 1936. They lived in various Southern Minnesota communities prior to moving to Owatonna in 1962.

She is survived by her husband, Emil; by two sons, Delmore of Denver, Colo., and Estel of Ellendale; and by six daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Evelyn) Shawback of Owatonna, Mrs. Albert (Doris) Hammel of Papillion, Neb., Mrs. Larry (Betty) Wray of Boulder, Colo., Mrs. Carl (Phyllis) Heikkila of Squaw Lake, Mrs. Myrtle Lamb of Pequot Lakes, and Mrs. Ronald (Donna) Eppler of Broomfield, Colo.

She is also survived by one brother, Louis Schultz of Huron, S.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Sophie Nielson of British Columbia, Canada, Mrs. Ettie Adrian of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Mrs. Albert (Velva) Johnson of Omaha, Neb.; and by 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, one granddaughter and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, the Rev. R. Rudolf officiating. Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the Conley-Wollin Chapel, and at the church one hour preceding the service.
