On September 10, 2008, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandma and Great-Great Grandma Eufracia M. Archuleta at 100 years of age, passed away at home in Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes.
She was born in Trujillo Creek, Colorado on March 15, 1908 to Francisco Abeyta and Feliciana Muniz Abeyta.
She was married three times to Guillermo Martinez, Eugene Duran and Dave Archuleta. She lived most of her life in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she raised five children and worked for the State of Colorado as a Homemaker.
She moved to Utah in 1987 to live with her daughter Frances, who lovingly took care of her for the last 21 years.
Survived by daughters Frances Casias, Agnes Vigil, son Andrew Martinez, 35 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 37 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husbands and daughters Delores Martinez, Isabel Zavella Schnebelen and son Joe Martinez.
Special thanks to Legacy Health Care of Utah who helped care for Eufracia. There will be a High Mass at St. Anthony's church in Aguilar, Colorado 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. She will be laid to rest in Trujillo Creek, Colorado.
