Athens, AL - Miss Bessie Smith, 95, of Limestone Nursing Home, Athens, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Fred Lackey officiating. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Smith was a school teacher in Oklahoma and Limestone County, AL.
Survivors include three nephews, Charles Spencer, Harold Spencer and Winston Spencer, all of Athens; two grand-nephews and three grand-nieces.
