MR. EDGE

VALLEY - Mr. Harold D. Edge, 66, of Valley died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Lanett.

Funeral services are planned for Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Revs. Mike Newman and Jeff Thorn officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfax Cemetery.

Mr. Edge is survived by his sons, Robbie (Kim) Edge and Randy (Allison) Edge, both of Valley; and six grandchildren.

Born Feb. 7, 1942 in Alabama, Mr. Edge was the son of the late Emma McDonald Edge and Robert Edge. He had worked most of his life for WestPoint Pepperell. Mr. Edge was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Beth Edge.

The family respectfully declines the honor of flowers and asks that memorials be made in his memory to the American Cancer society.

The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
