LAURA AGNES ABANATHY, 100, of Pocahontas, died Wednesday, March 20, 1996 at the Pocahontas Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Abanathy was born July 2, 1895 in Alton, Mo. She was a housewife.
Survivors include a sister, Mittie Grissom of Pocahontas; a brother, Lawrence Huddleston of Florence, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Goldia Huddleston of Grandin; three grandchildren, Clay Huddleston, Ray Huddleston and Betty Blevins; nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchiildren.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. March 23 in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. --Prospect News, Doniphan, Mo, Apr 3, 1996.
