Vera Davis Anderson, 80, passed away peacefully on January 9, 1996 in Salt Lake City.
Born December 21, 1915 in Annabella, Utah to John Franklin Davis and Sabra Sophronia Roberts Davis. She married Elwood Archie Anderson June 10, 1934 in Annabella, Utah. Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Preceded in death by her husband October 1975.
Worked several years for Mollerup Van Lines and Auerbach's, and served faithfully in the LDS Church in many capacities.
Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Val and LaVon Hunt; grandchildren, Debra (Stewart) Martinsen, Murray; David (Julie) Hunt, South Jordan; Scott (Tanya) Hunt, Montpelier, Idaho; John (Rebecca) Hunt, Richland, Wash.; Suzanne (Shawn) Jacobs, Boulder, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Ryan and Sabra Martinsen; Tyler and Teri Jo Hunt; Sydney, Kensi Jo and Toni Hunt; Andrew and Jaren Hunt; sister, Velda Dalton, Annabella. Preceded in death by great-grandsons, Timothy and Tony Hunt; sister, Maida Johnson; and brother, Ellwood Davis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 1996, 11 a.m. at Murraydale Ward, 6300 South 300 East. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 East, and on Saturday, at the church one hour prior. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road.
