Mrs. Frances J. Burns, 81, of Paxton, formerly of Buffalo Hart, died at 6:35 p.m. Friday at her home in Paxton.
Mrs. Burns was born at Buffalo, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Priest. She had resided in Paxton since 1958.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar; one son, John of Paxton; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Krumpe of East Peoria and Mrs. Mary Carson of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Miller, Dawson; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Remains will be removed to the Smith Funeral Chapel where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. J. Albert Steele of Paxton will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
