Leon Noel was born to Mr. & Mrs. William Thomas Sapp at Leedey, OK., Jan. 4, 1916, and departed this life at his home on Feb. 1, 1996. He was married Dec. 6, 1941, to Goldie Gaede at Stillwater, OK. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from Tinker where he was a foreman of the machine shop. In 1954, he became a member of the Masonic Fraternity and served as Worshipful Master of the Midwest Lodge 532. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and Eastern Star 491. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife, Goldie, of the home; three daughters- Judy and Terry Minter of Memphis, Lynda and David Haggard of Midwest City, and Diane Sapp of Midwest City; five grandchildren- Jim Minter of Midwest City, Tim and Kelly Minter and Kim Minter of Memphis, and Darrel and Jennifer Haggard of Midwest City; three great-grandchildren- Brandon Minter of Memphis, and Nikki and Kayla Minter, who were very special little girls to him; one sister, Loi s Harris; two foster sisters- Mary Ann and Melton Snethers of Kingfisher, Elizabeth and Jack Porter of Rush Springs; one foster brother, Ted and Ethel Biehler of Anadarko, OK.; and many nieces and nephews.
