William P. Herod, 68, died at his home 129 South Moore street, at 4:30 pm . Tuesday. He was born June 13, 1873, at Bloomfield, the son of William T. and Sarah Draper Herod. He was married April 14, 1895, to Rachel Caroline Stogdill. Surviving are his wife, two daughters. Mrs J. W, Noe and Mrs. Bertha Grinstead; a son, Harry P. Herod, eight grandchildren, a brother. Bailey C. Herod, Bloomfield, two half brothers, Clifford and Glenn Herod, and one step sibling.
