FOUNTAIN INN, SC - Albert C. (A.C.) Thompson, 77, of 921 Dunklin Bridge Road, husband of Edister (Dis) McCuen Thompson, died Saturday, November 20, 1993, at Laurens County Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, son of the late Luther Ira and Lillian Mae Sims Thompson. Mr. Thompson was retired from Greenville County as chief jailer and court bailiff. A WW II US Army veteran. Mr. Thompson was a member of Daventon Baptist Church where he served as deacon and former Sunday School Superintendent and former custodian of the church.

Surviving also are four daughters: Mrs. James (Janice) Cole and Mrs. Butch (Kay) Kellett of Simpsonville, Mrs. Johnny (Patricia) Storay and Mrs. Roy (Fay) Childress of Fountain Inn. Four brothers: Belton Thompson and Richard Thompson of Gray Court; Charles Thompson and Kenneth Thompson of Ware Shoals; four sisters, Virginia Davis and Dot Cooper of Fountain Inn; Agnes Abercrombie and Bessie McCuen of Hickory Tavern; seven grandchildren, Steven Cole of Simpsonville; Ray Storay, Greg Storay, Austin Childress and Tyler Childress all of Fountain Inn; Justin Kellett and Jenna Kellett of Simpsonville; One
Great-grandchild Byron Storay.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2PM at Daventon Baptist Church by Rev. Tommy Lowe, Rev. O.L. McGinnis and Rev. J.P. Lockaby with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Monday.

The family is at the residence.
