CARLON MABEL RUTH 86, of Second Street, Hopedale Ohio, died Sunday in St. Johns Hospital Steubenville, Ohio. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Hopedale. She was preceded in death by a daughter Pat Rose; her parents Harrison Brady Shepherd and Mary Elizabeth Moore Shepherd. 10 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving is her husband Harold "Popeye", son Ronald (Beulah) of Hopedale, 2 daughters Meda (George) Kovacik of Cadiz, Karen (Donald) Jochims of Hopedale; 2 sisters, Dorthy Gabel and Jenny Gabel both of Bellaire , 12 grandchildren,6 great grandchildren. Friends will be recieved 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday at Blackburn Funeral Home, Hopedale., where services will be held at 1pm Wednesday. Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
