A new church is about to be erected near Grube's graveyard at Rothsville by the Grumbein denomination. It will be frame 36 x 50 feet and work has been commenced.

“Rothsville Residents Married at Elkton
Announcement has been made of the marriage of Henry Grumbine, a well known farmer of Rothsville, to Annie Loebe. The license was granted in Elkton, Md. The groom is 67 years of age and is a widower. The bride is 50 years of age and has been engaged as housekeeper for the old gentleman for some time. Both are highly respected residents of Rothsville.”

"Henry Grumbein
Henry Grumbein, of Rothsville, died Wednesday noon of a complication of diseases, aged 72 years. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mary, wife of Allen Balmer, of Lincoln; Phares, Rothsville; Anna (sic, Emma), wife of Wallace McQuade, Lincoln; thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; one sister, Lizzie, wife of Isaac Keller, Lexington, and the following step-children: George Loebe, North Dakota; Mrs. Erma Loebe, Philadelphia; Mrs. Mary Stach, Philadelphia; John Loebe, Philadelphia; Frances Loebe, Delaware; Sarah, at home. The funeral will be held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock in the home, with services at 10:30 o'clock in the Lutheran Church at Rothsville. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery."
