Will and Testament

In the name of God amen. I Delilah Hamilton of the County of Rusk & State of Texas, being of sound mind & memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make, ordain and decree this to be my last Will and Testament - That is to say, first for the love and affection which I bear to my son Andrew J Hamilton and for the further reason that my other children have received from my husband in his lifetime material aid and assistance equal to at least what I now do for him ( ?) I do will and decree that when it shall please my Creator to desolve this fore me and call me from earth, that he the said Andrew J Hamilton shall have and hold ,own and possess in fee simple all the right and title which I now have as and undivided interest in the tract on parcel of land on which I now live with all and singular the rights & appertainancy pertaining thereto Said land being known as the Hamilton farm and lying about five miles N. W. from the Town of Henderson, and my interest being one half in community with the heirs of my husband - I further give bequeath and devise all the rest, residence and remainder of my real and personal estate - First to the payment of my debts & the balance to be equally divided between my several lawful heirs Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint Jas S Hamilton and John D. Hamilton to be executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills be me made.
In testimony whereof I here-unto subscribe my name & fix my seal using scroll for seal on this 27th day of July 1866
