Mrs. Norman Cox, 48, died at her home on the Bose Coleman farm South-east of Athens at 11:30 Thursday morning. Her death was attributed to acute peritonitis which followed a recent illness with influenza.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Shelby Chapel where interment followed.
The deceased is survived by her husband and nine children.
