SARDIS, Ga. - Mrs. Glisson was born April 2, 1932, in Stuckey, Ga. to the late J. K. and Gladys Christine Purser Brantley. She was a homemaker, a member of the Sardis Baptist Church and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Glisson is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Glisson of Sardis; two children, Deborah Elliott (Herb) and Jan Chandler (Mike), all of Sardis. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Jean Mallard, Girard; her brother, Roman Brantley of Jasper, Ala.; five grandchildren, Carrie Coleman (Sky), Brad Elliott, Josh Chandler, Megan Chandler and Jessi Chandler.
