Ft. Worth Peace Officer Dead

Harry R. Hamilton, former chief of police of Fort Worth and county detective, who made many friends in Arlington while a candidate for sheriff last year, died Thursday at 2:45 a. m. in the home of his brother, D. H. Hamilton, 4061 Bunting Ave., Fort Worth, as the result of a stroke of paralysis suffered three weeks ago. Funeral services will be held today at 3 p. m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Fort Worth. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
