James F. "Jack" Gadberry, 67, of Jasonville passed away at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 at his residence.
Born Sept. 4, 1941 in Greene County, he was the son of Claude F. and Anna Marie (Fry) Waggoner.

He was the maintenance supervisor for the Metropolitan School District of Shakamak for 15 years and retired from Pillsbury after 25 years of service. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a member of Jasonville American Legion Post No. 172.

Survivors include his wife, Linda K. (Carrell) Gadberry of Jasonville whom he married on June 9, 1966; son, Jim Gadberry of Jasonville, son and daughter in law David and Kristie Gadberry of Savage, MN; a sister Sandy Behan of LaGrange, IL; a half-sister, Wilma Boone, of Shelburn; a brother, Rex Gadberry, of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Joie Gadberry, Kaleb Gadberry, Nathan Gadberry, Kiera Gadberry, Braden Lewis Gadberry and Bailey Lewis Gadberry.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be conducted 5-9 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Randy Harris officiating.

Burial with military rites will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
