Richard Warren Allred, 81, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley. He was a native of Bessemer and a resident of Foley.
Survivors include his wife, Madline Durant Allred of Foley; two daughters, Frankie Dinsmore of Huntsville and Dina Durant of Tampa, Fla.; a son, James Wayne Durant of Birmingham; a sister, Ivylyn Stone of Foley; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley. Burial will follow in Bivens Chapel Cemetery in Jefferson County.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. today until the time of the service at the funeral home.
