He died at his home, 146 N. East St. in Globe, at the age of 85, and was buried in Pinal cemetery in the family plot. Born in Meridian, Mississippi, he came to Arizona in the early 1900's. He was in the cattle and mercantile business in Globe for many years, and was retired for 23 years. He was survived by his wife, Mack; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret E. Cage of Glendale, Mrs. W.C. McFadden of Globe, and Mrs. Mary DeVore of Globe; two sons, Lon of Phoenix and R.M. of Globe; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Wilkerson of Clifton and Mrs. Sarah McEuen of Fort Thomas; and two brothers, F.T. of Alamagordo, N.M. and Albert of Globe.
