A life long resident of Oxford area, Miss Clack was born January 26, 1879, the fifth of ten children of Jonathan and Ellen. She lived with her family at the Clack Homestead on Lake George Rd., Addison Twp., teaching at Kingsbury School.
In the fall of 1914 she moved with her parents to 52 N. Washington, where she lived until her current illness. During her years in Oxford she has shared her home with many. Boarding teachers, caring for elderly, and those who were ill, and the many children she cared for through the years.
Miss Clack is survived by two brothers, George and Lee of Oxford, and four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Cowan, and Mrs. Belle Blow of Oxford, Mrs. Minnie Elwell of Dryden, and Mrs. Emma Torrance of St. Petersburg, Florida.
