Jacob Peter "J.P." Roeder, 61, of Springtown, died of a heart attack March 25 at an Azle hospital.
Graveside service was conducted March 28 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Roeder was born in Fredericksburg and had lived in Hurst and Springtown since 1962.
Roeder was an assembler at Bell Helicopter from 1963 until he retired in 1984. He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hines Roeder of Springtown; son, Joseph Brown of Springtown; daughters, Linda Askta of Dallas, Diane Hill of Springtown; and five grandchildren.
