Services for "Lottie" Woodall Mallett, 86, Grand Saline, formerly of Van, were held February 25 at Hilliard Funeral Home Chapel, Van, Bros. Daivd McNary and Larry Jones officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton. Mrs. Mallet died February 23, 1998, in a Van nursing home.
She was born May 2, 1911, in Van Zandt County. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Grand Saline. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Buck Woodall and her parents, W.H. Burch and Ella Coon Burch.
Survivors include husband, Ward Mallett, Grand Saline; stepsons, Ward Mallet, Jr., Overton, Charles Mallet, Grand Saline and Billy Mallett, Terrell; and daughter, Donna Sue Schutter, Van; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Gary Don White, Harold Woodall, Carl Harbison, Lee Ray Harbison, Jimmy Burch and Danny Whitfield.
