Mr. Poertner died Friday, December 22, 1995. He is survived by one son, Vaughn Poertner, Eldon; two daughters, Janet Williams and Emily Trantham, both of St. Charles County; three sisters, Virginia Brockmier, Rolla, and Mabel Griffith and Melba Powell, both of St. Louis; two brothers, Marvin Poertner, Florida, and Floyd Poertner, Allenton; several grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Ralph Poertner, 77, Pacific, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 27 at Nieburg-Vitt Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific. An American Legion service also is scheduled Tuesday at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Pacific City Cemetery.
