CARTHAGE - Graveside services for Milburn Eugene "Gene" Cummins, 84, of Beckville, will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at Youngblood Cemetery in Beckville, with the Rev. Rick Tate officiating. Arrangements are by Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mr. Cummins died September 5, 2008 in The Woodlands.
Born October 22, 1923, in Roans Prairie, he served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Northwoods Presbyterian Church in Houston. Survivors include his sons, Brian and Bruce Cummins; and daughter, Nancy Prideaux.
