W.H. Hollingsworth, of Chepultepec who for some time had been making his home in Birmingham with his son, Sylvester Hollingsworth, died at the home of the latter, June 22. Mr. Hollingsworth was about 83 years of age and was one of the staunch old veterans who wore the grey in the great war between the States. The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had long been identified with the religious activities of the community where he lived. Funeral services were held at Chepultepec Friday and were conducted by Rev. T.B. Nation.
