A resident of Bolton, CT; served in the 1st Independent Battery, Connecticut Light Artillery, during the Civil War He died of measles while in the Union Army at the battery hospital. He enlisted 31 Oct 1861, was mustered in 14 Nov 1861. His unit was commanded by Captain Alpid Rockwell.

His wife's pension number was 11938. In the records, it was noted that a Martha A. Spencer witnessed a letter to the government by Isadore. Her identity is unknown.
