Mrs. Goly Crow Shinn, age 86 of Dumas, AR died Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at her home.
She was born, April 25, 1912 to Dewey and Addie Lee Barter Crow in Yell County, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist church.
She is survived by four sons, John Shinn of Cabot, Jack Shinn of Dumas, Floyd Shinn of Cabot and Bobby Shinn of Dumas; a brother, Barter Crow of Centerville, AR; a sister, Modean Osburn of Shreveport, LA; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Shinn; a son, James Shinn and a daughter, Rebecca Ferguson.
Funeral service was May 1, 1998 at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Ricketts officiating assisted by Rev. Bob Richmond. Burial was in Walnut Lake Cemetery in Dumas, AR. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
