I think the following is a mention of Thelma's birth; Newspapers Burrton Grit, Dec. 19, 1907 and Burrton Graphic, Dec. 20, 1907, "Girls were born to John Baze and Harder Shackford at Patterson. The names and dates and small population of the Patterson area lead me to think this Harder has to be William Hardee Shacklett who went by Hardee.
From the Wichita Eagle, Wed. July 17, 1985;
Thelma A. Earl, 77, of 2208 Minneapolis, homemaker, died Monday. Service 3 p.m. Burial at Wichita Park Cemetery. Broadway Mortuary is in charge. Suvived by cousin Clara Blake, Denver, Colorado.
In an attempt to locate photos, I found evidence of a Clara E. Blake, born 1917, died in Denver, Colorado on June 19, 1994 (Social Security Death Index). A volunteer answered my inquiry for an obit, but said they found no obit, just a death notice mentioning no surviving family members. (Larry E. Barnes)
