Alfred Page Green, 94, of Columbia, formerly of Odessa, died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Boone Hospital Center.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the Husman-Sparks-McDowell Chapel in Odessa. Burial will be in Greenton Cemetery near Odessa. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Green was born Feb. 22, 1907, near Odessa to Walter Lee and Edith Lee Page Green.
He married Burton Hannah on June 18, 1930, in Odessa and she preceded him in death. He was a self-employed farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Odessa. He was a member of the American Saddle Bred Horses Association and had served as president of the Conservation Federation of Missouri, Lafayette County Chapter. He and his wife moved to Lenoir Retirement Village in 1988.
He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter and a son, David Burton Green.
