She was born at Dutch in Braxton County on July 4, 1920; daughter of the late Thurman Issac and Mae Bell (Allen) Brown.
Her husband, Fred Charles Bee, whom she married on March 10, 1948, preceded her in death on June 22, 1980.
One son, Franklin Brown; one granddaughter, Ruby Gail Brown; brothers, John W., Homer, Harold and Sherman; and sisters, Ressie Wells, Edna Robbins, Marvis Harris and Daisy Carrizales, also preceded her in death.
Ruby is survived by one son, Randall Gene Brown of York, Pa.; brothers, Ralph of Baltimore, Md., and George of Olympia, Wash.; one sister, Ertha Jean "Angie" Diaz of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are granddaughters, Sonya Jarrett, Patricia "Dolly" Crim, Sheila Detamore and Donna Boggs; 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two very special friends and neighbors, Delmas and Jane Hickman.
Mrs. Bee was a housewife and a Methodist by faith.
Friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home of Weston on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, at 11 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend William Griffin officiating.
