BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. — Services for Raymond R. Murray, 72, 1409 Kansas Ave., who died at 10:59 p.m. Friday at St. John's Medical Center, Joplin, Mo., will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena.

The Rev. Parker Craig will officiate.

Burial will be in Tence (sic) [Pence] Cemetery, Cherokee County, Kan.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Starina, Max Starina, Albert Eby, Richard Eckler, Howard
Weakley and Tom Dugan.

Mr. Murray was born Nov. 3, 1900, on Galena route 2. He had lived there until nine years ago when he moved to Baxter Springs.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Cherry Grove Full Gospel Church, south of Galena.

He married Mrs. Sara (sic) [Sarah] Hutchingson (sic) [Hutchings] Nov. 22, 1932, at Joplin. She survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Claude Murray and Robert Hutchingson (sic) [Hutchings], both of Galena; two brothers, Jack Murray and Irven (Max) Murray, both of Galena; sister, Mrs. Lizza Shouse, Miami, Okla.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
